Τα θύματα της γενοκτονίας
δεν είναι τα θύματα ενός εγκλήματος
απλού, βάναυσου και σκληρού,
είναι οι πληγές της ανθρωπότητας
που μας αφορούν όλους
γι' αυτό δεν αρκεί μόνο
να θυμόμαστε αλλά να αγωνιζόμαστε
για την αναγνώρισή τους
που δεν είναι παρά το πρώτο στάδιο
της διαδικασίας διόρθωσης.
Χωρίς αυτό, είναι άχρηστο.

ne sont pas les victimes d''un crime
simple, brutal et barbare,
ce sont les blessures de l'Humanité
qui nous concernent tous
aussi il ne s'agit pas seulement
de se souvenir mais de lutter
afin que leur reconnaissance
ne soit que la première étape
du processus de réparation.
